President - Jacqueline Perry - 3rd Term

Jackie has been active in the community for many years. Before serving as president, she served as the CGS Vice President for two years.

Vice President - Sarah Widdowson - 1st Term

Sarah immigrated from England with in 1988. In January 2010, she attended her first CGS meeting, which also her first outing presenting as female. Since then she has come out to friends, family and work, had a legal name change, several surgeries and got divorced (after 24 years). She lives full time and has never been happier in her life. She has two teenage daughters. The CGS family has been a huge support during this period of change, which is why she has agreed to serve on the board and do what she can to keep this wonderful organization going. Previously she served on Barrington Swim Club Board for seven years, with three of those as President.

Secretary - Ginger Lee - 1st Term

Ginger was elected as the Representative at Large, but agreed to take the Secretary position when health reasons forced Holly to resign. She has been a member of CGS for only one year, but she has been involved for been much longer than that. She has been an eager volunteer for CGS and other LGBT organizations. For CGS she has worked on the Sheila D Picnics as well as many Garden Parties. She also extends a helping hand to the Aids Foundation, Equality Illinois, the Human Rights Campaign, and New Spirit Community Church. She traveled to Mississippi with a trans team in 2008 and 2009 to help in the Katrina rebuilding effort. She has been on a Be-All committee for four years. She is always ready to help and is very effective in getting things done.

Treasurer - Audry Farber - 1st Term

Audry has been a member of CGS since 1995. She has been the CGS webmistress and a Primrose (newsletter) contributor for several years.

Representative at Large - Lois Strzyzewski - 1st Term

Lois took over for Ginger, when Ginger took the Secretary position. When she first started attending CGS meetings in 2007, she of thought of herself as an ally to the trans community. She now considers herself a non-gender conforming female. She was happy to fill in the Representative at Large position, when the need arose. She plans to continue volunteering when this term ends.
