Vice President - Dani Crissip - 1st Term

Dani has been a member of the Chicago Gender Society since 2005. Due to work constraints she was not able to become more involved in CGS until 2008. Since 2008 Dani has become more visible in the community. She is very excited about meeting the challenges of her position.

Secretary - Sheila D. Sanow - 6th Term

Sheila D. Sanow has been a member of CGS since its inception and has maintained a very good record of attendance missing only three meetings since 1987. She has been on the board a couple times now over the years and likes to be helpful to the group. A picnic is held once a year as a joint venture with Tri-Ess at her home and all are welcome, if they just bring a dish if they wish and a chair if the care. A volley ball game is played between the groups and a trophy and bragging rights are given to the winner. She has been a contestant for Miss CGS on two occasions and has placed but couldn't take top honors due to the wonderful group CGS is. She has received the Distinguished Service Award for her support of CGS in 2001 and has many stories and information for anyone interested in the history of our Society. She has also participated in every Pride Parade representing CGS or Illinois Gender Advocates. She's just someone nice to know and will try to help you no matter where you go.

Nicole is still furthering her education by attending her local Community College.

Representative at Large - Holly Ann Niesel - 2nd Term

Holly has been active in the community for about the last five years. She is the one that can be counted on to raise her hand when volunteers are needed. In 2008 & 2009, she was a member of the trans team (organized by Kelly Morrissy) that has gone down to Mississippi to help rebuild for the victims of Katrina.
